Ruth Roberts dance and movement teacher
RUTH ROBERTS - Dance/Movement
Ruth grew up in the heart of Tap Dance - Cessnock, where she started tap dancing and never stopped. She opened Sydney’s first tap school for adults before travelling around Australia and the UK (Edinburgh Festival and Soho Jazz Festival) with Mic Conway’s Junk Band.

While teaching at Sydney Dance Company and The Sydney
Theatrical Centre, Ruth directed the outdoor Spring Dance Festival for the Sydney Opera House. With a B.A. Dip Ed, Ruth has a wide range of practical strategies to work with leaders, management and teams to expand strategic and creative thinking through dance and song.
Anita Spring Robertswood vocals teacher
ANITA SPRING - Vocals
Anita has many credits as a musical theatre performer in shows such as Grease - The Musical, Elvis - The Musical and Bad Boy Johnny and as a backing vocalist for Christine Anu and other Australian artists. This led to a recording contract with Universal Music and the release of several of her own songs which charted at number 2 on Australian and Nashville (USA) Country Radio.

Anita also has a Master of Management and currently performs around Australia in a live show she produced which pays tribute to Olivia Newton-John.
Darren Mapes - Roberstwood vocals teacher
DARREN MAPES - Vocals
With a B.A. in Contemporary Music, Darren is an experienced actor, singer and musician. Darren created and performs in, the nationally successful cabaret show "The Carpenters From Kempsey" and works regularly as an accompanist for Casey Donovan, Belinda Chapple and David Campbell.

Darren was Head of Singing/Acting at Brent Street Performing Arts School for 12 years and continues to provide specialist coaching for professional singers and musical theatre performers through his own singing studio in Sydney.
